2!

The birthday theme today was The Very Hungry Caterpillar! One apple, two pears, three plums, four strawberries, five oranges, one piece chocolate cake, one ice cream cone, one pickle, one slice Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon were all consumed.

Papa and I wore matching socks.

I also had a little sip of mustard.

I did NOT want to wait to blow out any candles; I wanted my cake RIGHT NOW PLEASE!

I got tons of cool stuff, (like intergalactic rocket ships!) and was very happy to play with everyone and share my special day with family. I am blessed! I love you all!

PS this birthday was so fun I'm thinking about having another one real soon. Why wait a year?

Breakfast fit for a two year old

Eggs, bacon, strawberries, homemade sourdough and apple butter, and three (3!) cups of chocolate milk!

Papa and I hopped on a train, going to Union Station.

Then we got in the bus. Boulder-bound!

I was really in the hippie spirit. I ran up to every tree I saw, said, "Hi, tree!" and then hugged it. Every tree!

I also sampled the flavor of the local dirt. Terroir!

A little roasted banana and Nutella gelato was a nice palette cleanser.

Made some friends!

Rode a snail (even slower than it looks)!

Tuckered me right out!

Two-tone

Half yoghurt, half prune juice. Nice.

So today was pretty cool

Papa and I headed out early for a bike ride along the Cherry Creek trail to downtown.

We found this guy making pour-over coffee (we had a natural process Ardi from local Huckleberry Roasters, if you're wondering) from his super sweet converted classic VW bug.

We stopped at Union Station to look cool for minute.

Then we got to have lunch with Great Grandmama, and Great Uncle & Aunt. Sure was a hoot! Until next time, love, Theodore.
